Well, I believe that appreciation can change a day and even change a life. Giving reward is also a way to appreciate someone for their work, and these criteria is followed by almost all the sections of mankind.
If I talk about myself, I’ve recieved numerous awards since my childhood. My parents have always given me a prize whenever I broke my own record in my academics. But, here I would like to talk about a precious award given to me by a police officer.
Actually, the situation was that I was travelling to Patiala to visit my relatives. The whole journey was really enjoyable, however, when I entered the city one of the bikers was trying to pass me, and he was riding extremely fast due to which he collapsed into the truck and got seriously injured.
The people standing there were not coming infront to help him. By looking at this, I got depressed and just without thinking of anything else picked him up a d took him to the nearest hospital. After reaching there, the doctors called his guardians as well as the police as it was an accident case. That time I got scared because I thought that the police would scold me and put me behind bars.
On the contrary, when an officer came, he just asked me some questions related to the accident but in a very polite way. At the end of the conversation, he gave me his watch as a reward and said that you did a great job and set an example for others.
